Team Selection Issues
“Howard and Lindsay were absolutely amazing. I came to them after a questionable team selection decision. They saw my case through arbitration and finished it off winning. I am only able to compete in World Championships because they gave me a voice when I thought I had lost all hope.“ Greg West, Team USA Skeleton athlete
The Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, as well as the bylaws of the United States Olympic Committee, guarantees athletes who believe that they have been wrongly denied the honor of representing the United States at major competitions like the Olympic Games and World Championships the right to challenge that denial at arbitration. We have assisted numerous athletes in attaining the national team spots that they deserved, and have also successfully defended many athletes whose national team selections were challenged in arbitration. We have the experience that is critical to successfully handle these cases on the short deadlines that are frequently required.
